Paley Park is one of the best parks in New York City. It is an urban pocket park located on 53rd Street between Madison and Fifth Avenues in Manhattan. The small park is the perfect place for having a relaxing time.
Paley Park is slightly elevated from street level and has a low canopy of honey locust trees to drown out the city noise. The main attraction of the park is its 6 meters high waterfall that serves as a backdrop. The park also has comfortable wire mesh chairs and tables for lounging. You can grab some New York-style bagels and smoothies from concession stands like Foodbella.
Paley Park is best suited to visit alone. It is also the only park in New York where you are allowed to smoke. The entry is free.
