Central Park, New York City Overview
Central Park is located in the Manhattan borough and is the fifth-largest but most visited park in the US due to the sheer amount of variety it offers.
The park has small rivulets flowing, bridges made out of stone over the streams, grasslands, tall trees, lakes, meadows, wooded areas, grassy areas at The Ramble, Hallett Sanctuary, Jacqueline Kennedy, Central Park Carousel and Sheep Meadow with lots of flora and fauna.
Horse-carriage riding, cycling and driving through lanes, sports facilities, concerts and bicycle tours are famous. Most corners are well connected by public transport. The park has 21 playgrounds. Observatories at Belvedere Castle, Charles Dana Discovery Centre and Columbus Circle are favourites.
