Strawberry Fields in Central Park in New York is a memorial to former The Beatles member John Lennon. Located between 71st and 74th Streets, the garden is named after The Beatles song “Strawberry Fields Forever”.
Strawberry Fields is a beautiful garden in New York City and it is filled with elm trees, shrubs, and colourful flowers. The memorial is a Greco-Roman style mosaic that spells out the word “Imagine”, which was the name of John Lennon’s most famous song. The Dakota building, where Lennon used to live before his demise, is a four-minute walk from Strawberry Fields and is a famous attraction for tourists and fans. The Wagoner Cove is a scenic dock which is just a few minutes walk from the memorial.
