This 137-year-old & 1800 meter long bridge across the east river connecting Manhattan & Brooklyn.
It was once the longest suspension bridge in the world and it still attracts around 1,20,000 visitors every day with its six lanes of traffic and a 15 feet wide central pedestrian path. The walking bridge is on the top of traffic lanes and on a clear day provides an unrestricted view of the downtown skyline of Manhattan & Brooklyn and also the Statue of Liberty & Empire State Building. Brooklyn Bridge Park is right near the bridge(& Pier-1) and is a perfect place to enjoy a movie night or relax after a tiring walk.
