Planning a Trip? Ask Your Question
There are several springs all over Florida, however, you surely can’t miss the Devil’s Den, which is a 54 feet deep, privately owned underground spring cave from where human remains have been found which dates back to the 7500 BC. Isn’t that spooky? Come and experience the thrill at the Devil’s Den located at a distance of 102.8 miles from the city of Orlando. It is suggested to not go there with people who have a disability as it is mainly popular for snorkeling or scuba diving, casual swimming is not allowed.
Do not forget to carry your snorkeling and scuba gears, however even if you forget it, you will be able to rent snorkeling gears for $10 and scuba gears for $40. The fee to enter the Den is $15 per person for weekdays and $20 on weekends. The spring maintains a temperature of 72 degrees throughout the year. It remains open from 8 in the morning to 5 in the evening and if you are planning to spend the night near the cave, then there are tents, camps, cabins, and trailers. Enjoy the marine wildlife, beautifully and naturally carved rocks, and a serene and calm environment.
