Located in the Swan River, Heirisson Island is a natural island in the heart of Perth and is home to a large number of kangaroos. The island is also regarded as an area of cultural importance due to the Nyoongar heritage. The island is a popular tourist attraction, always bustling with people hanging out in groups. It takes about half an hour to walk around the whole island and about 2 hours to explore the whole island, and it is best suited for someone looking for a peaceful stroll outside the main city.
