With an ingenious mix of precious toys, The Toy Museum is one of a kind. It is known to have Austria's largest collection of historical European toys, a train set, library, a shadow room, a maze and much more. Apart from this, the museum also has a miniature toy exhibit and a children's Library.
On the ground floor, you will find toys and crafts from Baroque times till present including marble alleys, Bobby cars, space to romp and play. This museum also contains toys dating back to 100 years. Moving on to the first floor, you will encounter the Treasure Chamber, Doll's House, marble section and block floor . The Second floor houses a children's cinema for the purpose of watching a short film.
All these toys are not just displayed but can be played with and playing with these toys is accompanied with learning experiences for the children. The museum also hosts entertaining puppet shows and exhibitions. It's associated with the Museum of Historic Musical Instruments. So if you are not interested in toys then go and witness 4 centuries of classical musical instruments.
