Birch Aquarium

Birch Aquarium is an aquarium at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography at the University of California, San Diego, California. They have interactive tide pools and various popular exhibits such as the Hall of Fishes, Giant kelp forest, Seadragons & seahorses, and more. You can dine here at the Splash! Cafe by French Gourmet. It's an open-air cafe at the entrance of the Birch Aquarium.

There is also a Birch Aquarium Gift Shop that offers a broad range of goods based on ocean-theme, including home decor, plush toys, games & puzzles, accessories, jewelry, decorative glass figurines, and a copious selection of scientific and children's books. Their admission prices are subject to change. General admission tickets are not valid for programs, special events, and concerts. You can also purchase an annual membership of this Aquarium to gain savings and support from it. The members get free admission, special discounts, and invites to member-only programs. The ticket sales counter closes at 4:30 P.M.
