If all you yearn for is peace and an uncrowded beach, then Breakers Beach is the place for you. But do note that the beach is allowed to those only with a military ID. Located within the Naval air station, North island at the north end of ocean boulevard at sunset park, San Diego, it is probably the most isolated and remote beaches in all of California. So exclusive, that only military personnel and their families are permitted to enter this private military beach.
Its next-door neighbor is the public and dog-friendly - Coronado beach, which Breakers beach has a stunning view of apart from just the pristine blue waters. Being a secluded private beach has its perks with beachfront parking and clean facilities including outdoor showers & toilets. However, one may not find any place to grab a snack around here. It’s recommended to carry your food & drinks while you reminisce in the serenity. Other amenities include a fire pit to cozy around in the evenings while snacking on some marshmallows and singing along to campfire songs.
If you wish to have more than just a morning or evening stroll here, the beach house cabana is available for renting out, which makes it an attractive offer, given the remote nature of the beach.
