Golden Hill Community Garden, San Diego Overview
A community inspired garden located in Russ Boulevard, San Diego, Golden Hill Community Garden was constructed in 2011 to create a community driven allotment that anyone can visit that promotes sustainable urbanization and mental health through nature-based solutions. Everyone’s welcome here to get their hands dirty by getting involved with the gardening & harvesting and sip on some tea after.
Open every Wednesday from 10-4, people are supported to learn and grow together.
Apart from this, they also run toddler groups, an afterschool club to educate the young, multiple community events and also renting out raised beds to community groups among others.
