Lake Jennings Campground is a delightful weekend getaway with hookups and well-kept primitive tents, offering rustic ambience and panoramic views of Lake Jennings and the surrounding semi-arid mountains. Their most attractive feature is a large, modern pavilion for picnics, bonfires and enjoying mouthwatering grills.
In contrast to most campgrounds in the area, Lake Jennings is a magnet for children owing to indoor games areas and an enclosed playground. At the floating and launching docks, you can see many tourists enjoying fishing, bird watching and paddle boating. The flat terrain makes hiking an easy job through Sentry Point and Hermit Cove. For events like large family picnics, you can rent the entire Lake Jennings Campground to accommodate 600 guests, party tents and mini pavilions. When you run out of firewood, camping supplies, snacks and fishing bait, you can easily purchase them at the quaint Bait and Tackle Shop near the entrance. Lake Jennings Campground is also popular for hosting weddings and executive meets. They have a posh banquet space called “The Gazebo” and outdoor catering services for 200 guests at a shady glen beside the lake. Nearby attractions include off-leash dog beaches along the lengthy Pacific coastline, Californian wineries and bakeries.
