The San Diego Natural History Museum is a museum situated in Balboa Park, El Prado in San Diego, California. It was established in 1874. It is a large museum that flaunts rotating displays on dinosaurs, animals, and earth science. It is the oldest scientific establishment in Southern California and the second oldest in the west of Mississippi. The museum organizes captivating exhibitions and features a large-screen Dolby digital 3D theater showing films that are natural-world-oriented.
It also hosts various traveling exhibits every year. There is an escape room that is the first of its kind. You can dine or have some snacks at The Flying Squirrel Café. Also, there's an Alex and Elizabeth Wise Museum Store that offers natural history products and gift items with a sustainable message. Here, the general admission ticket counts for all general exhibitions and films. Also, food and drinks are restricted in collections and laboratory areas. Entry is free for members and children (2 yrs and below).
