San Diego Air & Space Museum is an aviation and space observation museum in San Diego, California. It lies in the former Ford Building, in the renowned & historical Balboa Park, El Prado. SDASM was made accessible to the general public on 15th Feb 1963. It was previously known as the San Diego Aerospace Museum. It is California's Official Air & Space Museum with a vast collection of historical aircraft, space-craft, and interaction exhibitions.
SDASM is affiliated with the Smithsonian Institution. It has a collection of Aircrafts & space-crafts from all over the world, including the Apollo 9 Command module and the only original GPS satellite across the globe. The museum also offers interactive exhibitions like Max Flight Simulators, a 3D/4D theater, and much more. The museum also features a gift shop and a grill to dine in. This place is good for children and is also family-friendly. A free parking facility is available on-site.
