The San Diego Museum of Art is a fine arts museum situated at the heart of iconic Balboa Park, El Prado in San Diego, California. It is an esteemed museum with glorious artworks, also featuring a courtyard bar offering sculpture garden views. The nationally famous collections of the museum include 19th & 20th Century American paintings & Sculptures, Spanish and Italian old masters, South Asian paintings, and others.
At SDMA, exhibitions' text is always in English & Spanish language. Its mission is to inspire, educate, and foster curiosity in people via great artworks. There are three museum closures: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas, and New Year Day. The tickets cover admission to The San Diego Museum of Art on the same day. You can purchase tickets online or on-the-spot at the time of your visit. Further, entry to May S. Marcy Sculpture Court and Garden is free.
