The San Diego watercolor society is a large non-profit organization focusing on art that was founded in 1965. It has been around for over 50 years and grew from a small 16 member group to now over 700 members. The gallery displays various forms of art on water-based media. It is also known to host an array of art shows, events and workshops.
The gallery also helps the artist in the sale of their artwork as well as sell other items such as greeting cards. This gallery has various educational workshops to teach students and art lovers how to paint on water-based mediums.
