Although not too popular in comparison to some other beaches, Anse Port Launay is a scenic and mesmerising site. With stunning and contrasting differences during high tide and low tide, the beach has a lot to offer like walking to an islet that is completely submerged during high tide and only accessible during low tide. And during high tide, visitors can rent kayaks to follow the same routes or explore the marshlands. Being well connected and with lovely views, it definitely deserves a place on your itinerary.
Be aware that it is entirely possible that during high tide that the entire beach, since it is just a ring of sandy expanse surrounding the islet, just disappears which may result in a few confused faces. The upside of the shallow water is that visitors don't have to worry about being dragged out far into the ocean by the tide.
