Close to the famous Sir Selwyn-Selwyn Clarke Market, the Sri Navasakthi Vinayagar temple is located on Quincy St and is one of the most famous places of worship in all of Seychelles. Small but brightly painted, it stands out from the rest of the buildings. You can seek the blessings of the temple while enjoying the picturesque architecture of the monument.
The only Hindu temple in the island-nation, the brightly-coloured building is reminiscent of the temples that are plentiful in Tamil Nadu but is nowhere near as crowded. The temple welcomes anybody but ensure that you remove headgear and shoes before entering the temple. The temple is also close to both the Sir Selwyn-Selwyn Clarket Market and the Victoria Clocktower.
