Shirdi in Winters (October - February)

Shirdi experiences winter season from October to February. This is considered to be the best season to plan a trip to Shirdi. The temperature hovers between 12°C and 25°C, making it a pleasant climate especially for exploring the town. The famous Shirdi Sai Baba temple also sees a large number of devotees, especially in October on the occasion of Shirdi Vijayadashmi/ Sri Sai Punyatithi. Shirdi in Summer (March - May)

Between March and May are summer months in Shirdi. The temperature soars as high as 42°C while the minimum hovers around 27°C. The blazing sun makes sightseeing an exhaustive task. Summers, therefore, are not recommended to the tourists, but some devotees are drawn to the town on the occasion of Ramnavami. It is celebrated every year in March or April, and one can get to witness the grand celebrations with processions, prayer rituals, devotional songs, Qawali programs etc. which are unique to the town.
