Agios Riginos Monastery is located 4 km South West of Skopelos Town. The Monastery was built in 1728 in the shape of the tomb of Agios Riginos, the Patron of the island, and was later refurbished in 1960. The beach is ideal for swimming up to a distance of 4 m, but the water gets deeper after that and is also prone to strong winds.
