Located at the center of Diocletian’s Palace in Split, Cathedral of Saint Domnius is the oldest Cathedral in the city. It’s bell tower is known for its incredible views of the city. It is an architectural marvel with several aesthetic and historical statues and scriptures.
Built in the 4th century, the Cathedral has a connection to Diocletian’s Palace. It has a church, dedicated to Virgin Mary a bell tower. The bell tower, which is the main site, is dedicated to Saint Domnius, a bishop of Salona. The architecture has been revamped several times in history and thus represents various styles of different periods. You can climb on top of the tower to take in a spectacular view of the entire Split.
