About your question, it would depend on how much of Kashmir you would like to cover. If its just Srinagar, 5 days are more than enough. However, if you want to visit more places, I would suggest you (Read More)to add a few more days to the trip. The places that you must visit in Kashmir, must include Pahalgam, Patnitop, Anantnag, Verinag and Nubra Valley. A road trip is possibly the best way to enjoy the beauty of Kashmir in its entirety. Spare a night stay in each of Pahalgam, Patnitop and Srinagar. You could stay on in Srinagar for about 2-3 nights, to explore the sights and sounds. You can enjoy Anantnag and Verinag on the drive down.
