Magic Planet, Trivandrum Overview

Renowned as the first magic park in the entire world, the Magic Planet is an absolute treat for the inquisitive child in us all. Inaugurated by then Chief Minister of Kerala, Mr Oommen Chandy on October 31, 2014, the Magic Planet has done a great deal in not only introducing the layman to the vast world of magic, but also to rehabilitate the extraordinarily talented and capable Indian street magicians who will charm you by exhibiting some shocking magic moves and awe-striking tricks. Few of these famous tricks are the 'Indian Mango Mystery' and the 'Indian Basket Trick', which have never failed to entertain and amuse the onlooker. Spanning over an area of a whopping 1.5 acres, the Magic Planet is home to many unique attractions whose exceptional concepts and impeccable presentation are sure to leave you completely spell bounded.

How To Reach Magic Planet

The Kazhakuttam Railway Station is the nearest railhead from Magic planet, and it lies very close to the city centre. You can hail a cab or an auto rickshaw from here that will take you directly to Magic Planet in about 10 mins and at very economical costs. The cabs and autos are lined up right outside the station, and you should insist that they charge you according to the regulated meter and not on pre-decided fares.

The Trivandrum Bus Station is also very close to the Kazhakuttam Railway Station and is a stopover hub for many government buses, private buses and luxury buses. Taking a bus will get you to Magic Planet at a considerably lower cost.
