Bioparc, Valencia Overview

Bioparc Valencia is a 10-hectare zoological park renowned for its innovative "zoo-immersion" design that allows visitors to experience meticulously recreated natural habitats. It showcases various African habitats, including savannas, equatorial forests, wetlands, and Madagascar, housing species such as lions, elephants, gorillas, and lemurs. It is situated at the northwestern end of the Turia Gardens in Cabecera Park.

Opened in 2008, the park focuses on African fauna, providing an immersive environment where barriers between animals and visitors are nearly invisible, enhancing the sense of being in the wild. Bioparc's design philosophy eliminates traditional enclosures, using natural barriers like rivers and rocks to separate visitors from animals, creating a seamless and engaging experience. Committed to wildlife conservation, it participates in international breeding programs and offers educational activities to raise awareness about endangered species.
