Uhrenmuseum Beyer Zurich is located in the center of the city at Bahnhofstrasse 31. As the world's largest private museum dedicated to clocks and watches, its exhibits include high-end sundials, sandglasses, fire clocks, and water clocks.
The museum exhibits 270 pieces with chronological significance in horology, including pieces with artistic and technical advancements dating back to the beginning of time in 1400 BC. In addition, Uhrenmuseum Beyer Zurich holds clocks from the Renaissance and Gothic eras from all around the world, each with special significance. Apart from the small local clocks from Ochsner, Liechti, and Bachoffner, visitors to the museum can see notable clocks, including an early marine chronometer, astronomical pocket watch, Neuchâtel pendule, and Geneva enamel pocket watch.
