Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival at Bagdogra Airport (Ixb)/Railway Station (Njp) & Transfer to Gangtok

We will receive you at Bagdogra Airport (Ixb)/Railway Station (Njp), and you will be met by our representative. He will welcome you and board your vehicle to Gangtok. Check in to your hotel, and overnight stay at Gangtok.

Tsomgo Lake: Located 38 km from Gangtok at an altitude of 12,400 ft, the ethereally beautiful Tsomgo Lake is a must-visit. The winding road through rugged mountain terrain and sharp cliffs leads to this serene lake, which derives its water from the melting snow of surrounding mountains. The lake looks different every season—frozen in winter and surrounded by blooming flowers in late spring.
Baba Mandir: Situated between Nathula and Jelepla Pass at an altitude of 13,123 ft and about 52 km from Gangtok, this temple is dedicated to Baba Harbhajan Singh, a revered soldier of the Punjab Regiment. Legend has it that Baba appeared in the dreams of his colleagues and requested a memorial to be built in his name after he tragically drowned in October 1968.
Optional: Nathula Pass: At 14,450 ft, Nathula is one of the highest motorable roads in the world. This mountain pass connects Sikkim with China and is known for its stunning beauty. Note: Nathula is closed to tourists on Mondays and Tuesdays, and visiting requires an additional fee.
In case of landslides or other reasons that cause Tsomgo Lake to be closed, alternative sightseeing arrangements will be provided.

After an early breakfast, check out from your hotel and transfer to Lachen. Visit scenic spots like Singhik View Point, Seven Sister Waterfall, and Naga Waterfall. Arrive in Lachen by evening and check in to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Gurudongmar Lake: Situated at an altitude of 17,100 ft, Gurudongmar Lake is considered sacred by both Buddhists and Hindus. Encircled by snow-capped mountains, the lake remains frozen in winter except for a small blessed area. Its water is believed to have miraculous powers. After sightseeing, return to the hotel for lunch. Post-lunch, proceed to Lachung. Check into your hotel for an overnight stay.

Lachung: Located about 118 km from Gangtok at an altitude of 8,858 ft, Lachung is surrounded by snow-capped peaks, waterfalls, streams, and apple orchards. The town is known for its exquisite handicrafts and warm hospitality.
Yumthang Valley: Situated at an altitude of 11,800 ft and 25 km from Lachung, Yumthang Valley is a paradise of blooming rhododendrons during spring.
Mt. Katao: About 144 km from Gangtok and 28 km from Lachung, this mountain offers stunning views. During the winter season, adventure activities like skiing and snowboarding are also available. Entry requires permits from the army.
Zero Point (Yume Samdong): At an altitude of 15,300 ft, Zero Point offers breathtaking views of snow-clad mountains. Grazing yaks and rivers add to the beauty of this surreal landscape.
Return to Lachung for lunch before transferring to Gangtok. Check in to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Munch some breakfast and then checkout from hotel & departure to Bagdogra Airport (Ixb) /Railway Station (Njp) forwarding journey.

Travel arrangements were ok. Received us at the airport Hotel arrangement was very poor in Darjeeling. They had Put in some Hotel where reaching itself was difficult for any vehicle. and the Hotel (Read More)didn't have water for whole day. and all the bed sheets/blankets all given were very old. We ultimately had to book on our own another hotel. We had requested for at least 3 star and above hotel category. And we had to cut many tourist points due to that and return to Siliguri. Darjeeling itself is very congested town and most of the time you will be stuck in road.

Hotels provided at Gangtok,pelling are very inconvenient location which are lower to city side and Darjeeling hotel provided with very to very inconvenient. Dropping to Darjeeling taxi driver was imm (Read More)atured, non cooperative and trouble some.

It was my first trip with Round the Corner along with my family. I have booked a package for Sikkim with them in the month of April 2023 for 5 nights and 6 days covering, Gangtok, Lachung, Yumthang et (Read More)c. I was very skeptical to travel with Round the corner as there were lot of well known travelling agencies out there. However, after talking to the executive (Miss. Poonam) & the proposed iternary ,the hotels, services offered at that price point was pretty good . The whole trip went so smooth , starting from the pick up from the Bagdogra airport. The good thing is Miss. Poonam followed up to get an update from me about the hotel rooms , the drivers schedule, the arrangement, food and the services that I am getting in the hotel i am staying in. There were two cabs booked for us; the driver picked us up from Bagdogra Airport, but we were not that comfortable with one of the cab , the next day the cab was replaced for us. The drivers Sahil and Raj were polite, very co-operative & music lovers :-) Throughout the trip all the hotels provided were best in class; & in every hotel we have got view rooms. Overall it was a wonderful experience and made my trip memorable and Unforgettable. KUDOS TO ROUNDER THE CORENER team for delivering the happiness as promised :-)

The overall experience was fantastic from receiving and till dropping off. The cab drivers were very proficient so that we felt very safe. Hospitality was very good. We booked Round the corner after doing research from our end and after contacting multiple travel agencies. We do not regret booking round the corner 1%. Their commitment to fulfill our dream of visit (Read More)ing Sikkim was so evident where the plan had to change because of flood and had to opt different place instead of lachen and lachung. But even then the trip became so memorable for us and we are really happy with the organisers. A big shout out and thanks!

Smooth Coordination We planned to visit Sikkim in 9 May to 18 may, hence we booked our tour with Round The Corner . This tour agency is very good and works transparently. Binsong sir took care of our bookings and well coordinated whenever we needed any of his help. I definitely recommend Round The Corner to people who are looking forward to visiting Sikkim in the most cooperative and friendly way. "A superb Two week exploring sikkim . This was my first visit to Sikkim, and it was wonderful. We had a tour manager, an expert guide and a local guide to take us round & show us the sites. The hotel was excellent, full of character, quiet & secluded. The itinerary was a great mix - awe-inspiring Imperial sites, all presented in context with details of their long stories, some truly superb places. We visited good restaurants, where we were guided & encouraged to sample local specialities. There was free time for us to see some essential sites independently, and there was guidance on how to use the free time we had. All in all a great two week.
