Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Delhi – Haridwar (227km / Approx. 6 hours’ drive)
On arrival, check into the hotel. Overnight stay at Haridwar.

Guptkashi: The name Guptkashi means "Hidden Benares." Mythology describes how when the Pandava brothers were searching for a glimpse of Shiva, Shivji first concealed himself at Guptkashi, but later fled from them further up the valley to Kedarnath, where the Pandavas finally got their wish fulfilled. There are more tangible connections as well—the Kedarnath pandas (priests) live in Guptkashi during the winter months, and after the Kedarnath temple closes for the winter, the image of Kedarnath passes through Guptkashi on its way to Ukhimath (across the valley), where it stays for the winter.

Guptkashi Weather: Pleasant in summer, the temperature ranges from 25-30 degrees Celsius. Cold in winters
Morning after breakfast, proceed to Kedarnath. Enjoy Kedarnath Pooja Darshan and return to your hotel. Overnight stay at Kedarnath.

By Trek: Morning, our driver will drop you at Sonprayag. You will then take a local jeep to Gourikund, and your trek to Kedarnathji will start. After Darshan, follow the same route back to Sonprayag. There is a parking issue, so the driver may park elsewhere. If the driver’s contact number is not reachable, you will need to arrange another taxi or wait for your driver.

Kedarnath: The Kedarnath shrine, one of the 12 jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, is a scenic spot situated against the backdrop of the majestic Kedarnath range. Kedar is another name for Lord Shiva. According to legend, the Pandavas, after having won the Kurukshetra war, felt guilty of killing their own brothers and sought the blessings of Lord Shiva for redemption. He eluded them repeatedly and, while fleeing, took refuge at Kedarnath in the form of a bull. On being followed, he dived into the ground, leaving his hump on the surface. The remaining portions of Lord Shiva appeared at four other places and are worshipped there as his manifestations. Kedarnath and the four above-mentioned shrines are treated as Panch Kedar.

Kedarnath Weather: Due to its high altitude, the weather in Kedarnath remains cold for most of the year. Summers are cool and pleasant, while winters are severe. During summer, temperatures hover around 20°C. Light woolens are recommended. Winters see the mercury falling to as low as 0°C, with snowfall. Due to extreme climatic conditions, this time is usually avoided by tourists.
Morning after breakfast, proceed to Guptkashi by trek. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Guptkashi.
Morning after breakfast, drive to Badrinath. Check into the hotel upon arrival in Badrinath. Pilgrims can have a bath in the Taptkund and Darshan of Badrivishal. Attend the evening Aarti. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Badrinath.
Morning drive to Haridwar. En route, visit the confluence of Bhagirathi and Alaknanda Rivers, known as Devprayag. Overnight stay in Haridwar.
After breakfast, drive back to Delhi with happy memories.

I have taken a luxury package from Clanstays 11n12d chadham yatra, as promised in the starting all the hotels were same. I had a quotes from multiple companies but the Clanstays hotel policies impress (Read More)ed me a lot that the reason I opted Clanstays for my yatra and I was happy all the commitment done by Mr Mayank was fullified. Note* - Mayank your work style impressed me a lot that the reason I asked you to work with me as well. As I always said during the trip - (Bhai nagpur aajaa dono bhai aur acha kam krenge???)

Hi my name is aman jain mainpuri up. I booked my chardham yatra with mayank clanstay we were total of 18 adults and the package I bought for 36000pp for 11n12d from delhi. All the comitment done my mr (Read More) mayank regarding hotel were done and the traveller given was new model as I asked them in the starting.
