Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu

Upon arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport, a representative will be present at the airport holding a sign with the traveler's name. The traveler will then be transferred to the designated hotel. In the evening, a welcome dinner will be provided, offering an introduction to Nepalese cuisine and culture.

After breakfast, a pre-trip meeting will take place, where the trekking guide will be introduced, and any queries regarding the trip can be addressed. The sightseeing tour begins with a visit to Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest Buddhist shrines in the world, where Buddhist monks can be seen praying in surrounding monasteries.

The tour continues with a visit to Pashupatinath Temple, Nepal’s most significant Hindu temple, located on the banks of the holy Bagmati River. Here, it is possible to observe Hindu holy men (sadhus) meditating, pilgrims bathing, and, occasionally, funeral pyres burning on the ghats.

The final destination of the day is Bhaktapur Durbar Square, a historic site showcasing pagoda and shikhara-style temples surrounding the Fifty-Five Window Palace. Attractions include the Lion Gate, the Golden Gate, the Palace of Fifty-Five Windows, art galleries, and the Statue of King Bhupatindra Malla.

An early morning flight will take travelers to Lukla, the gateway to the Everest region. Upon arrival, the trekking team, including porters, will be introduced, and preparations will be made for the trek. The trail gradually descends to Cheplung village, offering a brief view of Mt. Khumbila, a sacred peak that remains unclimbed. The journey continues with a descent to Phakding, where an overnight stay is arranged.

After breakfast, the trek resumes through a pine forest and into Benkar Valley. The trail crosses the Dudh Koshi River via a suspension bridge and passes through the villages of Chumoa and Monjo before reaching the entrance to Everest National Park. The route ascends steeply, offering glimpses of towering peaks before finally arriving at Namche Bazaar, the largest town in the Everest region. An overnight stay is arranged in Namche Bazaar.

To adapt to the high altitude, an acclimatization day is necessary. Namche Bazaar, a vibrant town with various amenities such as shops, cafés, and restaurants, serves as an ideal place for rest and exploration. A short hike to the Syangboche Airstrip and a visit to the Sherpa Culture Museum provide an opportunity to learn about the region’s history and lifestyle. An overnight stay is arranged in Namche Bazaar.

A short hike to the village of Thame is included as part of the acclimatization process. Thame, located on an ancient trade route connecting Nepal and Tibet, is known as the childhood home of Tenzing Norgay, one of the first climbers to summit Mount Everest. After exploring the village, the return journey to Namche Bazaar is undertaken, followed by an overnight stay.

An early morning helicopter flight offers a breathtaking aerial view of the Khumbu region. The flight provides close-up views of Everest Base Camp, Khumbu Glacier, and Kala Patthar. Panoramic sights of Mount Everest, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Lhotse, and Nuptse add to the experience. After the flight, travelers will land in Lukla before taking another flight back to Kathmandu.

Note: If the helicopter flight is canceled due to technical reasons or adverse weather conditions, a refund of USD 250 per passenger will be provided.Note: If the helicopter flight is canceled due to technical reasons or bad weather, the cost of the helicopter ride, valued at USD 250 per passenger, will be refunded.

A morning flight will transport travelers back to Kathmandu. Optional extensions, such as a visit to Chitwan National Park or a tour of Pokhara, can be arranged. In the evening, a farewell dinner will be organized, featuring traditional Nepalese music and dance, providing a memorable conclusion to the trip.

On the final day, travelers will be transferred to Tribhuwan International Airport for their departure. If time permits, last-minute shopping or additional sightseeing can be arranged. Assistance will be provided to ensure a smooth departure, marking the end of the journey with unforgettable memories of Nepal and the Everest region.
