  • Drive to Thimphu (7,710 ft.), Bhutan's capital, passing the highest point of 2,800m/9,185ft.
  • Arrive in Thimphu and check into the hotel.

  • Visit the Buddha Statue, one of the largest in the world, offering panoramic valley views.

  • Indian visitors require a permit and must have an Indian Passport or Voter ID.
  • Minors under 18 must carry a birth certificate or passport and be accompanied by a legal guardian.
  • Documents required (to be submitted 15 days before travel for Paro arrival) include a digital copy of Passport/Voter ID (valid for six months) and a recent digital passport-size photograph.
  • Seek permission before taking photographs of people, events, or objects.
  • Photography is not allowed inside temples, dzongs, or monasteries.
  • Photos are permitted only in courtyard areas.
  • Do not touch religious artifacts or antiques.

  • Hats are not allowed inside temples, dzongs, or monasteries.
  • Shorts or half pants are not permitted in sacred sites.

  • Always walk clockwise in religious sites.
  • Use a flat upturned hand instead of pointing with one finger.
  • Dispose of trash only in designated areas.
  • Do not touch ritual objects or paintings.
  • Avoid stepping on books, clothes, or religious materials.
  • Smoking and drinking are prohibited in religious areas.
  • If in doubt, ask a local or guide for advice.

Cancellation Policy

  • If cancellation is made 30 or more days before departure, the advance amount is non-refundable, but no additional charges apply.
  • If cancellation is made between 29 to 20 days before departure, 30% of the tour cost will be charged.
  • If cancellation is made less than 20 days before departure, 100% of the tour cost will be charged with no refund.

Instead of 20 , we were only 11 We were stuck in clearance in abhudhabi , but the tour guide was texting pls come out fast otherwise we will miss dinner...seriously 2. After coming out , the bus was (Read More)no where in site , had to wait for 30 mins 3. The attitude of the tour guide Mr Ankur from Arabian journey , not sure how did this happen when akbar travel has an office in dubai. Out of 4 dinners 2 dinners were like eating at a refugee camp , same for lunch City tour where he did not get parking in most places , how can one click pictures sitting in a bus with tinted glasses . All in all disappointed.
