Itinerary

Enjoy a guided tour of Istanbul, discovering the sights of the ancient and glorious town of Constantinople. After pick-up from your hotel, you will start the tour visiting the Byzantine Hippodrome, where the chariot races took place in ancient times. Then, head to Hagia Sophia, a masterpiece of byzantine architecture commissioned by the Emperor Justinian to show the greatness of the Roman Empire. Continue with the visit of the Blue Mosque, known for its astonishing blue tiles. After that, you will stop for lunch and at the end, you will continue your tour with a Roman era underground water cister. Finally, you will discover the Grand Bazaar, the biggest covered market in the world, winding among a maze of streets and alleys and boasting a dome roof. At the end of the tour, you will be dropped off at your hotel.

Visit the three main monuments: Blue Mosque, Saint Sophia, Topkapi at a run. We took a lot of time in the shops where the guide took us, instead of visiting more of the monuments, we also bought and t (Read More)hat wasn't the goal of the day, so it's a shame we didn't take this tour to go to the shops.

the grand bazaar was closed and we didn't use the guide, in Italian, Topkapi Palace too many people and the guide advised us not to go, because in the 5 hours of the tour we weren't able to see everyt (Read More)hing. So we didn't use the guide there either. Mediocre lunch, very rude. Truly mediocre experience for the price paid

Our guide was very friendly but we found that the explanations given were not very structured and rich. We did not visit Topkapi which was however on the program. We arrived at the blue mosque when it (Read More) had just closed for prayer and had to come back a second time. Lunch was ok.

Our guide Isabel was very competent, attentive and kind. Congratulations. As for the agency that assisted us, it needs to be more transparent in its information, since it does not provide transfers as (Read More) promised in its advertisement and in the Voucher itself for our hotel (Ramada Plaza Telks). When we buy the tour, we inform our hotel. Finally, regrettable.
