Istanbul Historical Tour (EN/NL) by Professional Historian

First, we'll start at the Hippodrome in the historical neighborhood of Sultanahmet. From there we will visit the Sultanahmet square, where I will tell you all about the Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman history of Constantinople. From there, we will walk to Sarayburnu, where the legendary King Byzas first settled the city. After that, we can continue over the Galata Bridge to the other side of the city, where I will show you the beautiful architecture and atmosphere of historical Pera, which used to be a hotspot for European influences. Or, we can walk through the historical district of Fatih and visit Süleymaniye Mosque. Through consultation we can of course also put together a route according to your wishes.
