Itinerary
We will start our magical day from your hotel and drive to Golden horn and walk through Fener and Balat villages. We will see home to several places of worship, some of which are fundamental, such as the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople, which houses the Church of St. George. Right next to the Fener district is Balat, the former Jewish quarter of Istanbul, which developed from 1492 when the Jews persecuted under the Spanish Inquisition were welcomed by the Sultan who even sent his fleet to Spain to rescue them. We will see boutique streets of the district and try some snacks in the neighborhood. Then we will drive from Europe continent to Asia continent by pasing Bosphorus. We will stop at the spectacular Camlica Mosque on the top of Camlica Hill. Our next point will be Kadikoy and Moda district. We will see more about local life and of course local food and drinks between cosy streets. During our local tour we may try Turkish kebhaps, fresh sea food, iskender, lahmacun, cigkofte, kokorec, liver, iclikofte, manti, midye, kalamar, schrimp, doner kebhap, pita.
