In the middle of Wellington, New Zealand is the little park named Frank Kitts Park which was one of the first projects of the waterfront development here. This park has been built on reclaimed land and was officially opened in the 1970s but was completed entirely in the 1980s. It boasts of a long slide with swings, an amphitheatre style area for family picnics and events and an array of sculptures and artworks for the people here to enjoy.
