Good

It provided us with a clean and comfortable place to stay that was close to our daughter.

Room was comfortable and warm and quiet being at the back of the house. Plenty of hot water.

Only one side had a bedside light and that was inadequate for reading. The shower on/off control was very stiff. Only one parking place which we used for one of our nights but we had to use a neighbouring side street for the second night. Not a major problem for us but it would be a disadvantage for any disabled guest(s).

Everything was clean and neat. It took Don time to check-in via phone but we liked everything.

It would be great if there was breakfast.

Everything was perfect for the cost for I've night! Ideal location and only a short journey into the centre of Edinburgh. Check-in was smooth and room was very clean

Couples Christmas Market stay

After reading the reviews I was not expecting much. We stayed in room 11, ground floor front room. The room was huge, modern and decorated really nicely. Really clean, plenty of tea and coffee, TV, hair drier and iron. En suite was really nice. About a 30 min walk to the Royal Mile or 2 each way on the bus which was pretty much outside and buses came every 10 mins or so. Would recommend

Couldn't fault the place. Parking outside for one car - would not fit an estate sized car but plenty of parking literally around the corner
