    Great location close to Christmas Markets
    Great location for Christmas markets. Clean rooms and friendly staff, great buffet breakfast overlooking the dock area. Sound proof room on road side of hotel made for a really quiet sleep. Awesome shower and toiletries too. Generous size of room.
    Sink outside bathroom which didnt make sense. Kettle in room for coffee/tea but would be nice to have a Nespresso machine or something similar. Pillows could also be improved. Maybe with firmer pillows made available in cupboard?

    I liked most things - the location, big room, huge towels and the amazing smelling products in the room, but most especially the complimentary water and coffee machine in the foyer - a lovely touch. The location was excellent for most of the Christmas markets. We arrived on a Friday and there were delicious sweet treats for the guests. In the evening they had complimentary mulled wine. They made you feel like they were not trying to suck every Euro they could get out of you.1
    Lack of parking.They could have directed us to the very nearby UNTER SEVERINS BRUCKE parking as a fallback in the case of the car park being full. There was some black mould in the bathroom which was off putting. It is the type of thing that burns into your memory even when everything else is great.

    What generally dominates in the hotel and in the room as well is space. The room was large and very comfortable. The bed as well. The staff at the reception was very helpful. The breakfast was perfect, I would never look for another hotel when I am in Kln next time.
    Accessing the parking place is easy, safe parking is a big plus though quite expensive.

    Yellow glass pane was very bright when the sun shined through it but wasn't an issue, just closed the curtains.
