On the night we arrived, the heating wasn't working. When we tried to contact the property next morning, our phone calls/WhatsApp calls were declined. Only half an hour later, we got a reply via text message, asking to contact another number for assistance. We did - and were told someone would "be by the property later that day" to take a look. Not even a courtesy apology for the problem.
And then, there was no follow up on whether or not things were fixed. Only after we arrived back late that evening did we find (to our relief!) that the heating was functional.
So a low score for customer service.
But the facilities themselves were fine - except that the bathroom/toilet couldn't be locked from inside! I'd hesitate to recommend it for that reason to relative strangers sharing a room.
Another issue that will be relevant only for some time (but during that period will matter significantly) is that Botley Road is closed to traffic for repairs. This meant that to get by taxi to the railway station or Oxford city centre, you'll have to take a roundabout route - and we paid 25+ pounds each time.
Not to mention it takes over half an hour in traffic... to cover the distance that takes 30 minutes to walk! (Taxi drivers indicated it will take another year to complete repairs on Botley Road - but do your own due diligence on this)
