The room that we stayed in was nice and cosy. The breakfast was out of this world. The hotel made our holiday even more memorable. The reception staff was very helpful indeed, especially a young blonde woman, who helped us considerably when it came to informing us about parking and cost, which was really good of her.

There wasn't anything that we didn't like. We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

Great location and view from some rooms

We stayed twice in The Edge and our first room has a spectacular view and was very roomy and comfortable (Superior Double). Our second stay was in a superior double but a quirky triangular room which didnt have the view and was tricky to live in. Breakfast was plentiful and offered a wide selection. This hotel is located perfectly for day trips by boat and is within 5-10 mins walk to other meeting points for trips inc snowmobiling etc and to walk into the main area of town.

The second room we had, triangular in shape, wasnt to the same standard as the first Superior Double we had and was tricky to navigate with luggage etc. The Edge is a very popular hotel and can be very busy but it is well located.

Convenient for city centre

Tiny room, very poor bed, sagging mattress with no support so slept in the middle. Bathroom door not designed to fit so no privacy

Love this Place. Great All rounder Hotel.

The room was not exactly how shown in the photos but still nice ance Cosy, and Breakfast was decent. staff were always so helpful and assisting and very friendly. The Location is Perfection for those who are doing tours and Activities as the Popular Meeting spot is just to the left of the Hotel. Will be staying here again Next Time i visit

I was hoping the room would look like how it was shown in the Photos as i liked the look of the Wooden Design but that's nothing Serious. i did have to Block the View hole with some Tissue because the Cover was Loose.

Quick stopover

Fast check in, helpful staff, fab breakfast. Great for storing luggage once checked out.

Room was a double room but strange shape and tight layout. Standard double bed which was small for us and in a small space. Reduce bathroom size and increase bedroom area to maximise capacity.

Great hotel near the city center with view towards the port

- hotel lobby quite nice and alive all the time with free coffee/tea/bathrooms and staff always there for you - chambers really nice, clean and warm during winter - breakfast is really crazy, definitely must have
