Exceptional

The Donatello is a beautiful hotel and my family and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it .Wewere staying at the Donatello because we were attending a wedding reception there ..The staff were very helpful and accommodating. always with a smile on there face . The bedrooms were very spacious and well equipped..

I have nothing negative to write about the hotel .

Disappointing

This can be an amazing place if the management is more professional

For the Value I paid 600 SR equivalent to 165 USD , the service is too low. After paying at reception desk the lady told me I can park my car in the basement and tell the security that the desk is processing my access card , so I went to basement and the security wont let me in because I don't have the access card. so I had to park the car outside and go back to the reception desk and ask them for access card. it was un unprofessional behavior for such a price. the next day when I'm about to exit the parking, the gate opened but some one have blocked the gate with his car and left the car there , so I had to reverse all the way back and exit from the parking entrance. totally unprofessional. I went to the restaurant and asked for coffee , it took him over15 mins to prepare 1 cup of coffee even the caf was empty of guests. The towels at the toilet were at end on it's life. the color not really white, and the fabric in end of life shape. the TV can only allow you watch YouTube. no channels. When you take a shower , all the toilet floor will be wet and there is no wiper to wipe it off . so if you take a shower once a day , your toilet floor well be wet for the rest of the day. The safe in the room was not secured to the closet , and it's very easy to be removed. the welcome drinks had no coffee , only green tea and English breakfast. the window View was horrible. there was no view at all , just the neighbor building that was very close. it's Far from the City , if you don't have a car, there is no busses or metro or any means of transport , and since it's far it will cost a lot to get to the nearest market or restaurant using the Taxi by order service. if you don't have a car, you should not book this place. a part of that , the place is clean and quite.

the place is well designed and as a hotel it's very nice, however the staff and the handling of this facility is what makes it bad choice.
