- super cold and grumpy staff, the receptionist seemed to be reading a script. No help, no indications about the facilities and where the room was located, we had to ask around.
- the hotel was super dusty and in bad conditions, cherry on top its currently under restoration (so the lobby has tractors, mud and people putting cement in front of the main entrance no comment about the drilling and the noise). Just close the hotel to the public if youre restoring it! Or at least warn your customers before. Super bad. At the check out they neither ask you for a feedback or how was the stay maybe theyre used to people complaining.
- cherry on top: our bedroom was a junior king suite booked for 4 people. We checked in and it was arranged only for 2, without towels etc. We therefore asked for clarification, and the receptionist said back to us yeah but the couch is convertible, you know that right?. We explained that not only the bed wasnt ready, but that also we didnt have the sheets and pillows to prepare it ourselves. A few hours later, we got back to the room and our towels and sheets were launched In a plastic bag on the ground, with literally no care. For 350$/night we had to make our own bed.
The room was super small for being a suite, and the bathroom ridiculous, with the tub painted (parts of the paint coming off). The view horrible, and the windows dirty.
- the cleaning staff: didnt clean at all. Left the cups of tea and trash all on the desk (the bin was just next to it), literally didnt touch the convertible couch were we slept, they just made the queen size bed.
- breakfast: they give you a coupon of 10$ per room per night (!). We tried it the last morning, and it was super sad. It was not a buffet, and the lady at the desk had to keep track of anything we wanted to take to then make you pay for it (a ready made oatmeal of a famous brand, 7$!). No fresh fruits, cakes or anything healthy.
