There were several things that we didn't like, and a few things I really hated.
1. The room was exceptionally dirty, with numerous dirty spots, and the floors and areas around the bed had many unidentifiable stains.
2. On the second day, we were playing music in the room, and in the evening, we got a little louder. However, what I hated most was the hotel employee's behavior. He didn't knock or call our apartment, and he didn't use the phone to request that we lower the noise. Instead, he entered the main apartment door and the area where all the rooms were without any prior communication. Essentially, he used a key to enter the room without any warning. This is the first time something like this has ever happened to me.
3. When we arrived at about 10 pm, we noticed that the apartment was freezing cold. It was around 10 degrees Celsius outside, and although we tried to get the radiators to work, the only thing that provided any warmth was a small device that could only be placed in one room. Consequently, the entire night was uncomfortably cold.
4. The kitchen was disgustingly dirty. When I say this, I mean it. Even by the standards of a single man who lives by himself and doesn't prioritize hygiene, this level of dirtiness was particularly bad.
5. I understand that it's an old hotel, but because the heating didn't work and everything felt so cold, there was also a noticeable smell of humidity and mold in every room.
We certainly had better options for a slightly higher cost in Leipzig, and as a result, we didn't spend our last night at this hotel. Instead, we had to move to another hotel in the city center of Leipzig.
This is my honest review, and I strongly advise people to avoid this hotel because the only positive aspects were the location and the room size. Nothing else met our expectations.
Hopefully, the hotel will make some improvements in the future.
