This Hotel is a Trap

This Hotel is a Trap Lets start with the pros: the location in the heart of San Juan is excellent. Everything else is terrible: 1) the facilities are poorly kept (theres scaffolding inside the building, water leaking from the ceiling and one pf the lifts was broken) the pictures online are at least 10 years old. 2) the hotel policies make no sense: guests are not allowed to keep the remote to the AC in their room (you have to call reception every time you want to change it), there are no hairdryers 3) The hotel management and staff are terrible: the cleaning staff throw bags of laundry from one floor to the one below on stairwell used by guests, we asked for a crib ahead of arrival and the evening we arrived we waited over an hour to get one installed in our room with our daughter falling asleep in our arms. To top it all off, this place is not cheap. No value for your money here. We wish we had read reviews like this one before booking.

Superb

A great central spot to visit everything in walking distance.

There was ample space in the room with staff that did their absolute best to insure we had a great time. The property was also centrally located making everything pretty much an even distance walking.

The showers (while modern and with a rustic feel) were designed wrong. It allowed water to runoff into the rest of the bathroom with nothing to stop it in its tracks. Perhaps the entrance to the shower should be raised to stop it from flowing out
