Lazy Republique

We absolutely loved our stay at Lazy Republique! The place is wonderful, the bungalows are very nice and comfortable and in contradiction to other places weve slept in Thailand: the beds are also very comfortable! Its located in a bit more quiet part of Koh Chang -which we really loved- surrounded by beautiful nature and the bird sounds really have a bit of a jungle experience. Its close to nice restaurants and beaches and if you have a motorbike its very easy to explore the rest of the island. But what we loved the most about our stay are the absolutely amazing hosts! Fred and Pilou are the friendliest people who make you feel at home and we immediately felt so comfortable around them. They are very helpful if you need anything, make the most amazing breakfast and Pilou makes really good cocktails at the beautiful and cozy rooftop bar (with very nice view during the sunset!). I would definitely recommend this place and will 100% come back next time :)

The place is absolutely breathtaking! From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the beauty that surrounded us. The location offers a perfect blend of nature, with the nearby forest, mountains, and the sparkling sea, all embraced by a comforting sense of security. It truly feels like being in the heart of an exotic and untouched paradise. The owners of the place are simply delightful! Their warm and welcoming nature made us feel instantly at home. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was exceptional, providing us with invaluable tips and recommendations about the island and other must-visit places. Thanks to their guidance, we discovered a charming restaurant that will forever be etched in our memories; the food was nothing short of divine! A special shout-out goes to Pilou and Fred, the incredible hosts who made our experience truly unforgettable. Their genuine care and attention to detail surpassed all expectations. We feel incredibly fortunate to have had the opportunity to meet them and be their guests. They are without a doubt the best hosts we have ever encountered. In addition to the enchanting surroundings and wonderful hosts, the property boasts a magnificent swimming pool that was an absolute savior during the scorching midday heat. Taking a refreshing dip in the pool was an incredible way to cool down and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. And let's not forget the lovely garden, adding an extra touch of serenity and natural beauty to the whole experience. Overall, discovering this place has been an extraordinary stroke of luck. We are filled with gratitude for the remarkable experience and the memories we have created. This is truly a place that leaves an indelible mark on one's soul.
