DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL SCAMMERS

SCAMMERS!!!

they canceled the stay after we arrived at the hotel after 3 hours of driving, without explaining anything. We stood at the door of the hotel in shock. It was the eve of the New Year. It cost us a lot of stress and nerves

Me & my partner didnt stay

When I got to the hotel, the code didnt work to get in the main door so I called the hotel & they told me that me & my partner couldnt get in to the hotel because there had been a problem. The hotel said I should get my refund & no cancellation fees because it wasnt my fault I couldnt get in to my room I booked.

Really disappointing - the hotel was closed but still advertising and taking payment

Unfortunately I am unable to provide any positive feedback as the hotel was closed when we arrived. My disabled Father was with me and we had to make emergency arrangements for a different hotel. There were several other couples trying to check in and one finally established that the hotel has been closed since October! Why are rooms still being advertised and why no notice on the door.

The hotel was closed and left us stranded - rooms still advertised on the day of arrival

Absolute joke of a hotel and service arrived to no one answering the door was outside for over 45mins while calling reception over 20 and getting no answer what so ever the phone kept getting hung up after a couple of rings,ended up having to book another hotel due to time constraints absolutely appaling service,received an email 5days later telling me that they where "unable to accommodate my booking and where sorry for any inconvenience caused and to contact booking .com for a refund to wich I still have not received,hotel looked like and absolutely dive anyway would recommend anyone to avoid and spend there money elsewhere,there are so many others in the area that offer better rooms for the same price and I would recommend the coasters apartments or the monsell hotel both great places to stay with great accommodating hosts.

Superb

Lovely.

The staff were absolutely brilliant, couldn't do enough for us. They were polite, helpful and friendly. Breakfast was lovely. We were the last guests before they closed for the winter and a refurb. We felt welcome, comfortable and the location is absolutely superb. We had booked for a show at the Embassy Theatre (Fairy Tale of New York) and the show was brilliant and the location meant we could walk there. All in all we had a lovely stay which we thoroughly enjoyed.

The only downside was a light in toilet didn't work properly but there was another light in there so this wasn't a massive problem and I am sure the refurb will sort it out.
