Superb

The staff was super friendly, from the doorman, to the receptionists and the restaurant staff. The breakfast was amazing! super fresh food and an incredible varied selection. The location is also really good.

The buffet dinner was nothing special and definitely not money worth - it costed us 33/person + drinks. The outside walls are not that thick, since we could hear party music all night (Christmas season).

Everting was perfect. I went to celebrate my birthday and the staff on breakfast did surprised me with a small cake and candle and them did sing a birthday to me, I didnt expected nothing like that, them treated me like family after that them made another surprise, they knocked on my room to wish me a happy birthday with a bottle of champagne, they made my day very special. I loved everything and everyone at the hotel. The staff are really friendly and helpful them treat the guests with excellence and making the experience do memorable. I give 100 stars. This hotel inspired me to make my videos on YouTube where I will talk about the best hotels and experiences I have stayed in. I would like to thank the entire hotel team for the wonderful experience. I will back very soon

Great place to stay for a reasonable price

Great location and a nice venue with good facilities. Staff are very helpful and our stay was good value

No restaurant at the hotel means you are likely to eat elsewhere. There is an evening buffet but its not great compared to the nearby restaurants

Very good, but they can improve their service

Great location and view, friendly staff.

Both sinks have been blocked (room 237) and there are lots of mosquitos in an indoor swimming pool, you can't sit and relax there. The children's playground was closed (i.e. slide).

Our stay here was excellent and we will definitely be returning. .

The location was close to Funchal old town and Catarina Park was a couple of minutes walk away . The views were spectacular from the hotel. The pools and grounds were kept immaculately. The communal areas were vast and very relaxing. There was a great choice of food for breakfast and served until 11 . All of the staff were professional and friendly. Check out was 12 pm with a free 2 hr extension if your room wasnt required.

As above the hotel was really 3 star and spa facilities spolit our stay. Staff were friendly especially bar staff.

Restaurant and breakfast very nice, and bar area

The bedrooms were very dated and needed decorating and modernising. This hotel was definitely NOT. 5 star !! We were so disappointed by the rooms and the spa facilities, all pools were freezing, hot tub had no bubbles working and loungers by roof top pool were dirty. There were no tea and coffee facilities in our room and if we wanted a cup of tea brought up they were charging 8 just for service charge!! 3 star would be a fair representation of this hotel

Very good

We enjoyed ourselves and if the rooms had what you would expect from a 5* I would have given a 10 .

Stunning views , spacious and the staff were all lovely . Lovely comfortable bed . Food was good .

For a 5* you would expect decent toiletries supplied . We just got a bottle of shampoo, no Soap etc . A Tea/coffee tray should be supplied without having to request one , and it should be restocked daily . This was never restocked -disappointing .
