A front door that would not lock unless you had the brute force of the owner/caretaker. Sink drainage holes were either broken or the sinks not plumbed in. The downstairs shower was a trickle at times and both toilet seats needed replacement. A visible scum mark was evident on the bath. Crockery for use was chipped. One small coffee table had a leg without securing bolts that dropped off when you moved it. One soffa reclining mechanism did not work efficiently and both reclining soffas were in need of replacement. Some light bulbs were missing. There was a lack of information about how to work the TV, the dishwasher and the tumble drier. The driveway sign into Pinewood off the roadway was partially obscured by other signs causing us to miss the entrance and having to drive quite a few miles to turn around. The driveway into and out of the Pinewood location was very rough and could only be driven very slowly. We expected to have many walking ways at our location but were restricted to about 200/300 metres before meeting a fenced area. Using our car was not an ideal solution to finding forest/lochside/canalside walks but we were deterred from walking up the rough track down to Pinewoods because of the guard dog signs exhibited there. The lack of a visitor remarks book in Pinewoods might have reiterated some of our remarks here if one had been available.
