Overall a good experience. A solid 7 out of 10.

- The whole house is cozy and welcoming. For sure, the experience is intended for tourists that want to experience the life in a quiet typical Cascais neighborhood. If you want 4-5 stars, there are other options. - Wonderful neighborhood with very nice, friendly and welcoming neighbors (and shop employees). - Located 15m from the property, there is a nice shop that offers everything a tourist needs. You win a lot of vacation time if you choose to buy your things there. - In the area there are some really nice and simple restaurants where you can experience the local cuisine. - The living room is spacious, overall layout is good with kitchen accessible direct from the entrance area. - Sleeping rooms are cozy, a bit on the small size, but fine overall. The beds are comfortable. - Plenty of storage spaces. - The patio is intimate and has a nice tree that makes a good shade. - All the rooms are adequate lit. - Because the neighborhood is quiet, you can park without problems on the street, right in front of the house, hassle-free.

The following things are already reported to the staff, so they will probably be fixed in the near future: - Cleanness could be better, especially in the bathroom. - There was some dust here and there that was, probably, forgotten by the cleaning person. - The shower glass panel needs proper fixing. - Overall, the whole house could do with a new makeover and some tidying up. Nothing serious on the negative side.

Disappointing

The property looks nicer on the photos than live

The house has a big living room with a dining table and a lovely back yard with a nice bush with flowers. There is a mini supermarket in 10 seconds walk from the house - very comfortable if you forgot anything for cooking.

Cleanliness is a big issue: when you enter the kitchen you smell that it was used by someone already, the dishes, glasses and the fridge were not perfectly clean and that's why you feel some smell. The stains on the bed/coach covers don't look nice. There is also mold in the shower, should be renovated to look fresh. Some furniture (like the coffee table and the dresser in the living room) is not the same as in the photos. And the worst thing - after paying all the necessary amount of money for living there the property tried to charge/hold 100 in 2 days before check out. They said it was a standard deposit for any damages or excessive cleaning that might be found after our checking out. But this was never mentioned before (neither verbally nor in the description on the booking.com), so I had to spend time on negotiations in order to cancel the automatic transactions that kept trying to charge those 100 from my card.
