The hotel overall is very satisfactory. There were more tourists during Christmas and New Year, but the hotel staff was very friendly and able to provide timely assistance.
The rooms are clean and comfortable, with a great view. The restaurant offers a wide variety of food with plenty of options.
It is highly suitable for family trips.
It would be better if there were more variations in the breakfast menu.

Happy vacation in Kota Kinabalu with Sangri-La Rasa Ria, would love to come back again!
At Shangri-La Rasa Ria, we had relaxing and peaceful time, All you can expect is there. The beach was very close, beautiful sunset right is opened to you from everywhere, the room was clean and opened toward the beach. Also the golf . spa course is inside the area which made activities easy to approach.
Luxurious facilities, yummy breakfast, beautiful weather, kind and careful staffs, fun activities and programs, such great time. Thank you !!!!
I had an unpleasant experience at Kozan, Japanese restaurant. The main host server with red outfit had a rude, arrogant attitude that ruined the reputation of Sangri-La Rasa Ria. Her unbelievable attitude made us feel awful, discriminated : expressed disappointment to the head of manager and She expressed her apologies, tried best to make up our last night.
All staffs were so kind, had pleasant smiles, made the stay great but this one person can ruin everything.
I hope she can be removed from service position, never make anyone feel this way again. !

The staff was so slow and everything was done in very slow move. I would like to book a manicure and pedicure but the staff told me that they are fully booked but no one was there at 9 am so Ive asked how you can be fully booked if no one is there, the staff told me that someone is coming for 2pm. Ive asked why they are open if no one can perform the task before 2 pm. The same with breakfast. One day we went for a breakfast very late so we had a chance to have waffle and fresh juice. The next day we have to have the breakfast around 7 am and no one operated the waffles/pancake place and fresh juice. Few of customer and us requested if the waffles can be made but no one did anything. We left without it. Only the fresh orange juice somehow arrive around 7am. Not sure why if the breakfast buffet is open from 6 am and you cant get want you want at early hours. Its quite bizarre experience .

The beach, family friendly. Staff are nice and helpful.
The service staff are not prepared to handle the crowd that arrived during the high peak season. Many mistakes and delays in restaurant orders.

All of The staffs are very attentive, breakfast selection is fantastic, clear view of the mountain and sea. Because of the location of the hotel, the security is on the ball even late at night.
As its a Resort, expect the crawlies to be in the room.
