Lovely stay in a great location with excellent food and friendly, helpful staff.

The food at The Anchorage is excellent - lovely menu and very well cooked and presented for both dinner and breakfast. Also, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is brilliant and room was lovely and quiet.

Very good

Great staff - very welcoming, personable and attentive. Good location and food quality good.

En suite was cramped but OK (shower nearly overflowed the base and drain needs clearing). Breakfast portion was small for the price and food on the expensive side generally.

Disappointing

Overall very disappointing and would not be able to recommend this accommodation.

The bed was very comfortable although the duvet cover was on inside out. !

Room advertised as 'Superior' however fell short of this description due to, it's size (extremely small) toilet was so close to the wall it was difficult to sit on it straight, servicing of the room was adequate although the glass tumblers were not washed or replaced during the whole of our stay. Upon returning to our room on the last night it was obvious our room had not been serviced at all. When the manager was approached concerning this he stated that no servicing was done as there was no one to do it due to family reasons. No apology was offered whatsoever. It was disappointing that only cooked breakfasts were available, however, they were nicely presented, cereal or fruit would have been appreciated.
