This was an extremely poor stay. When I made the reservation, I saw that this was a very historic hotel, so I chose it without hesitation.
We will be competing here for two days, starting at 8:00AM each morning. During the game, the hotel staff called me to tell me that I needed to check out. I discovered that I had made a mistake when booking the hotel. I originally planned to stay for two days, but I only booked one day. This was my mistake. I immediately told the hotel staff the reason and informed them that I needed to stay for another day, and then provided the staff with my credit card. The hotel staff told me that I could extend my stay for another day.
But after waiting for about 30 minutes, the hotel staff called and said that my credit card could not be used. I'm wondering why my credit card can't be used? I informed the hotel staff that I would be back at the hotel soon and I would go directly to the front desk to deal with it. The staff told me it was no problem.
I returned to the hotel and immediately checked with the hotel staff again, but I tried three credit cards and they couldn't be used. I asked the staff if I could pay in cash and was told no. So I contacted my bank directly and asked why my credit card couldn't pay. Later, BMO bank staff confirmed with the hotel staff over the phone and informed them that there was no problem with my credit card. But still can't pass.
I asked the hotel staff again how to deal with this? The staff consulted with the hotel manager and came back to tell me that they needed to change my room and that my original room could no longer be occupied. I can pay for the room the next morning.
