    In the heart of Peterborough, the exclusive 4-star Bull Hotel is opposite the Queensgate shopping centre. Spacious rooms all feature a bathroom with bath and shower, Freeview TV and trouser press. Over half have been refurbished to executive standards and have air conditioning, a power shower, a bathrobe and slippers. The Brasserie serves both traditional and continental cuisine and has a fantastic wine list to complement your meal. Pastroudis bar and lounge is open all day and offers drinks and light snacks. Dating back to the 17th-century this Grade II listed building has been carefully renovated to its original glory. The bus and train stations are both just a 5-minute walk from the hotel. There are several parks within easy walking distance of The Bull whilst Orton Golf Course is just 3 miles away. Close to the A1M the hotel has excellent transport links for Cambridge and London.

    No warning ahead of booking that there were very large Christmas parties in , so eating in would have meant a very long wait.

    A few things weren't quite as I'd have liked. One sheet of tissue left in bathroom box. Quiet and
    Breakfast was adequate. They forgot to ask if I'd like toast. Hotel had lovely cosy feeling. Very quiet. Lighting good and not harsh.
    Reception weren't over friendly. Dinner was a bit chaotic. 200 people were attending a party. I had to go to find someone to take my order. Otherwise all was OK.
