Great value break in Peterborough

Great little hotel on the outskirts of Peterborough town centre. The accommodation is very clean and well kept. We were given an upgrade and our room was lovely. Breakfast is served in your room, continental style. We enjoyed omelettes, toast, croissants, juice, tea and coffee.Bathroom good, with walk in shower. Staff were very professional and cheerful. We only stayed one night, but would return if travelling to Peterborough again.

One staff was brilliant not sure on her name

It was awful, apart from one young lady the staff was terrible, the TV didn't work, the shower didn't drain properly and kept filling up as did the sink, was freezing cold in room and heating system didn't work, there was central heating but that was on a timer and didn't come on for hours, gave us a tiny electric heater but we had to go out the room and sit in the car it was so cold, it was new years day and honestly it was so so bad of a hotel please don't stay hear

Conveniently located, good price, and generally good accommodation

I have stayed at the hotel several times. It has an excellent location near the city centre with ample parking (usually). Staff are always friendly and helpful and the rooms are generally clean and comfortable. Room was warm enough. Typically good value for money.

When I checked in I was given an "upgrade" to a room in the loft of the hotel. The door to access the room was smaller than standard, the room is not on a single level (steps down into the room from the door, and up into the bathroom) and the ceilings are sloped. When I sat up in bed I banged my head on the ceiling; none of the sockets seemed to be in a sensible position - they are all mainly on the walls with the lowest parts of the ceiling (not very convenient for plugging in mobile phone chargers) There was no blind on the Velux roof window, so I was woken by the light when the sun came up :-(
